My son Spencer lived here in Amsterdam for a couple of years and told me that there were bicycles everywhere. That’s akin to calling the Grand Canyon big. I never imagined there could be so many bikes!! And the thing that I really love about it is that no one, not even kids wear helmets. And no accidents – none that we saw anyway.
Sat down just outside the Red Light district to get a beer and the three gentlemen behind us were from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Go figure:)
